| Heyo, it's Nik! Got 3 book summaries for you so you can learn something new this weekend. Our headliner this week is a wonderful story: The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma Today, Robin Sharma is known as an author, speaker, and spiritual guru to some. He's published over a dozen books, many of them topping the bestseller lists. But of course, like any good story, none of this is where he started. The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari: A Fable About Fulfilling Your Dreams and Reaching Your Destiny was one Sharma's first books, and it's still one of his greatest. Why? Because it's autobiographical. This is how his journey to a more authentic and spiritual life began. Sharma studied law. He became a litigation lawyer. That's the "attack dog" of lawyers. He fought for companies and individuals in court. But something felt off. Perhaps this was not what he was meant to do with his life? At the age of 25, Sharma quit. The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari tells some of his story, wrapped into the fictional tale of lawyer Julian Mantle. In the book, Mantle sells his mansion and Ferrari to study the seven virtues of the Sages of Sivana in the Himalayan mountains. Then, he tells his best friend John what he has learned. It's an awesome fable full of valuable life lessons. Here's what you'll learn in today's video:
