| Hello hello hello! It's Nik with 3 book summaries for you. Ryan Holiday is one of my favorite authors. This week, I published our video edition of his latest bestseller on Stoicism: Right Thing, Right Now. This is the 3rd book in Ryan's series on "The 4 Stoic Virtues," as they are called: courage, discipline, justice, and wisdom. Justice, Ryan explains, might be the most important value of them all. Just imagine someone with lots of courage, discipline, and wisdom, who then uses those qualities for evil and personal again. Uh-oh! Without justice, everything falls apart. In the book, Ryan tells many inspiring stories to show us how we can become fairer, kinder, more honest people. He acknowledges that none of us will ever be saints (and that even the people we consider to be saints, like Gandhi, were ultimately human), but he reminds us we can all get better, no matter how imperfect our starting point. According to Ryan, justice matters at 3 levels. "The Me, the We, and the All," he calls them.
