| Hi! Nik with the summaries of the week here. For our featured title, we have a fantastic read on wealth & happiness by one of my favorite modern-day philosophers: The Almanack of Naval Ravikant (Edited by Eric Jorgenson) Naval Ravikant moved to the US from India at a young age. His mom had to raise him and his brother by herself, so Naval spent most of his time after school in the library—it was the safest place to be while waiting for his mom to finish work. From reading a lot, Naval realized tech was the future, so he moved to Silicon Valley. Eventually, he built and sold a company, but the founders argued about the equity, and it got ugly. He then became a venture capitalist, investing early into crazy deals like Uber and Twitter, among many others. Nowadays, he is the CEO of AngelList, a company helping startups get off the ground. He also still loves books. Naval is quite active on X (formerly Twitter), where he tries to share everything he's learned in concise tweets and threads. Some of them went viral, and so, one day, Eric Jorgenson approached him about compiling his best ideas into a book. The Almanack of Naval Ravikant is the result, and it's one of the best books on building wealth and becoming happy—two things that often don't go hand in hand—that you'll ever read. Naval manages to speak in plain terms yet still explain the non-obvious. I highly recommend his interviews on The Knowledge Project and Joe Rogan as well. In any case, I hope you'll learn a lot from... Here's what you'll discover in today's video:
