The 4th of April is a monumental day in the world of literature.
On this date in 1928, Maya Angelou, one of history's greatest poets and writers, was born. Exactly 40 years later, the world lost Martin Luther King Jr., another unparalleled wordsmith and speaker, when he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee, while fighting for sanitation workers' rights.
