Steven Bartlett was born in Botswana, but his family emigrated to the UK when he was 2. He didn't exactly excel in school, but he had a knack for marketing. He founded several marketing agencies early in his life, and one of them even went public on the German stock market while he was still in his 20s! Since 2017, Bartlett has been running The Diary of a CEO, one of the world's most popular business podcasts. His new book carries the same title and offers 33 condensed lessons on business and life that Bartlett has learned from his hundreds of guests. Dusty But Brilliant
Rewire by Richard O'Connor
This book is an under-the-radar classic that I enjoyed very much when first found it on Blinkist* years ago. In Rewire, O'Connor succinctly explains why we keep engaging in addictive and self-destructive behavior, how our brains justify said behaviors, and what we can do to start breaking our bad habits. O'Connor himself has overcome depression twice in his life and is thus a living example of his work. If you want to have more control over your emotions, get rid of bad habits, and become a happier person, read this summary.
